Yeast Infection Causes
The main cause of Yeast infection is the Candida species. It is this species in particular that causes infection. Although there are several varieties of this species but only a few of them cause infections in humans. Few of these species that cause infections in humans are:
- Candida albicas
- Candida glabrata
- Candida krusei
- Candida tropicalis
- Candida parapsilosis
The duplication of Candida in humans is prohibited by the gastrointestinal bacterial flora. The gastrointestinal bacterial flora maintains a balance in the body so that the duplication of Candida does not take place.
The most alarming fact about Yeast infection that can puzzle people is that the cause of this infection is not the presence of yeast microorganisms. In fact, yeast microorganisms are already present in the body.
So, in such cases all the efforts should be done to maintain the balance between the gastrointestinal bacterial flora and the Candida in the body. If this balance gets disturbed then an individual will get the infection.
There is not a single factor that causes this infection. In fact, infection is caused by several factors like internal and external factors. Traits of the individuals that are based on their genes also provide an environment for the growth of the infection.
Several internal factors are also there that causes Yeast infection. These factors are:
- Decrease in the immunity of the immune system
- Fewer amounts of body friendly bacteria
- Dependence on the unhealthy foods
- Increase in the toxic content in the body
- Too much stress on the individual
There are external factors also which cause the duplication of the Candida in the body. It is not only the external factors, but also the internal factors that cause the infection in the body. The main external factors for causing infection in the body are:
- Use of the female hygiene sprays on the private body parts
- Colored Toilet papers
- Various types of deodorants
- Cleaning the urine area with toilet papers also helps in spreading infection
- Tight garments worn by people
There are other types of symptoms also. This infection may also occur orally. So, people should have knowledge about that also. The main external factors causing oral infection are:
- Using the same equipment over and over again
- Treating large number of people with the same equipment
- Bring dirty objects in the contact with the infants

- People with too much fat may also suffer infection at the joints
